Growing Tomorrows Farmer
April 23, 2022 - October 30, 2022. Farmers Museum / Fenimore Cooper, Farmers Museum / Fenimore Cooper,Cooperstown, NY, United States. https://www.farmersmuseum.org/exhibitions/
Growing Tomorrow’s Farmers explores the role of children on the farm from the 19th century to the present. Through the exhibition, visitors will meet new and legacy farmers that are changing the agricultural scene while growing local economies, culture, and tourism. The exhibition also examines the role of farmers of color in New York State—the barriers they faced historically and currently, and the resurgence they are leading today. Visitors will find images and objects from contemporary photographers and featured farmers, as well as those from museum collections.
