The bulls weigh in with many over a thousand pounds. Their horns are wrapped in carbon fiber to prevent them from goring each other when they fight one another. The wraps are removed before they fight in the ring.

Daniel Aragón, 29 years old son of the Matador Carlos Aragón Cancella. Daniel runs and co owns the bull farm Granadería Flor de Jara. They produce around 40 fighting bulls a year from a herd of 500. Their brand and genetic makeup of the bulls is from a long blood line of cattle from Andalucia started by six brothers and the brand is the 6 and a royal crown.
Ramón Contreras, 26 years old ranch hand and trainer and is a member of the Banderillero de Toros Profesional from Mérida, Venezuela.
Marco Peláez, 16 years old from Tlaxcala, Mexico. Has been working on the ranch in order to trade for lessons on becoming a Matador. If he stays on schedule, continues to work and train in the summers in Spain he may become a professional Torero in about 10 years.
